Wroxham and Hoveton St. John are two connected villages, split by the River Bure. Most of the village facilities are actually in Hoveton, but are generally known as Wroxham - the capital of the Norfolk Broads. Boats of all kinds are for hire and there are also an abundance of hotels, pubs, restaurants, shops and a large department store.
Cromer is a classic North Norfolk seaside town, situated on a cliff-top overlooking fine sandy beaches. Cromer has a traditional seaside pier with a Lifeboat Station and Pavilion Theatre, which still stages end of pier shows. Local Cromer crabs are still as famous as ever with fishing boats, launched from the beach in season, tending to hundreds of crab pots.
